I am excited to provide you with information for our upcoming Delta Future Eagles Boys Basketball Program.  Our #1 goal is to develop the best basketball program in the state!  We have been fortunate to take our program to the levels of success that our community EXPECTS!

A Few of those recent successes have been:

2019 undefeated regular season

winning 5 of the last 7 sectional titles

Back to back runs to the 3A Final Four in 2023 and 2024

3 straight trips to the Semi-State for the first time in school history! 1 of only 4 schools in the state to accomplish this!

 

Our hope is all of our youth teams can experience that type of excitement and enjoyment this season!

Program Offerings:

​

K-1st grades

We will provide fundamental skills sessions, to go along with an intramural 3 on 3 league for this age group.  Sessions and 3 on 3 games will begin in late October and run through November.  Specific dates and times will be announced at a later date.  

​

2nd -5th grades 

All of our 2nd -5th grades will have an opportunity to participate in an In-House Intramural league (geared for beginners and/or those that don’t want to travel), and/or on a travel team that will participate in the ECI Basketball League.  (please see additional information below regarding the ECI League.)

 

6th grade

Our 6th graders will participate in the ECI League.  Additionally, our 6th grade has a school team.

7th-8th Grades

Our 7th-8th grades can participate in our fall Shooting and Offensive sessions prior to their school seasons.

Delta Future Eagles Fall developmental Shooting and Offensive Skills  (GRADES 3-8!)

The Delta High School staff is excited to announce our Fall shooting and offensive skills sessions!  The focus of this part of our program is to help give players in grades 3-8 the drills and techniques of effective shooting, as well as a better understanding of offensive concepts needed to become successful basketball players.  Each session will focus on shooting instruction, followed by 3 on 3 and 4 0n 4 game play.  This will serve as an excellent foundation leading into our winter 5 on 5 leagues for all players.

WHEN:  Sept. 7, Sept. 14, Sept. 21, Sept. 28: 3rd-5th Grade: 5:00 PM - 6:15 PM | 6th - 8th Grade: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
